Rental Requirements and Terms (Phuket)
1. Documents
To complete the rental agreement, you must present a valid passport with a current visa or entry stamp to Thailand. We do not retain the original document — a copy, which we make during the rental process, is sufficient. To legally operate a motorbike in Thailand, you are required to have an International Driving Permit (IDP) with category A or A1. Riding without a valid license is a traffic violation and may result in a fine of 1,000 THB. Motorbike rental is only available to individuals aged 18 or older, regardless of whether they hold a driving license.
2. Deposit
When signing the motorbike rental agreement, a security deposit ranging from 3,000 to 10,000 THB is required, depending on the selected model. More expensive and powerful bikes require a higher deposit, while standard models require a smaller one. The deposit is paid in cash and can be made in any convenient currency — we will convert the amount based on the current exchange rate on the day of the rental. The deposit is fully refunded immediately after the bike is returned in proper condition and passes a quick inspection.
3. Payment
Motorbike rental must be paid in full based on the rental duration and the current rates at the time of signing the agreement. We offer several convenient payment methods: cash in Thai baht — either at our office or directly to the delivery staff, bank transfer to the company’s account, or payment by credit/debit card at our office. Please note that card payments are subject to a 7% service fee. You are free to choose the payment method that suits you best, and we guarantee a fast and transparent rental process.
4. Fuel Policy
Each motorbike undergoes a full technical inspection before being handed over to the renter and is provided in fully functional condition with a full tank of 95-octane fuel. We carefully maintain all our vehicles to ensure you feel safe and confident on the road. Your responsibility is to return the scooter in the same condition in which it was received: clean, undamaged, and with a full tank. This approach allows us to maintain a high level of service and ensure the quality of every rental.
5. Photo/Video Condition Check
After signing the rental agreement and completing payment and deposit, you are required to take photos or a video of the motorbike you receive. This visual inspection records the bike’s condition at the time of handover and is an important part of the rental process. You should keep these materials until the end of the rental period — they help prevent misunderstandings and ensure transparency for both parties.
6. Helmets
Helmets are provided free of charge, with a maximum of three per motorbike. If needed, we also offer children's helmets — they are always available upon request. All helmets are thoroughly disinfected after each use to ensure cleanliness and hygiene for every renter. We place great importance on safety and are committed to making your riding experience as comfortable and secure as possible.
7. Responsibility
By signing the rental agreement, you accept full financial responsibility for the property entrusted to you, including the motorbike, helmets, and any additional accessories. This responsibility covers cases of loss, damage, or malfunction, except for technical issues that arise due to manufacturer defects or normal wear and tear not caused by the renter or third parties. We expect all customers to treat the equipment with care and respect throughout the entire rental period.
8. Dead Battery
If the motorbike's battery is drained due to the renter's fault — for example, by forgetting to turn off the ignition, lights, or other electrical accessories — the responsibility lies with the renter. In such cases, you should contact the nearest motorcycle service or ask local mototaxi drivers, who are often able to assist on the spot. Any costs for charging or jump-starting the battery must be covered by the renter. We strongly recommend always checking that the ignition is switched off after your ride to avoid this situation.
9. Water Damage
It is strictly forbidden to ride through puddles, flooded roads, or any water obstacles deeper than 30 centimeters. Water entering the engine, transmission, or electrical systems can cause severe damage to the motorbike and may require major repairs. In such cases, all repair work and related expenses are fully the responsibility of the renter. We strongly advise avoiding risky road sections and exercising extra caution during the rainy season.
10. Fines & Accidents
All traffic fines incurred during the rental period are the full responsibility of the renter. In the event of a road accident, you must immediately inform our company and contact the police by dialing 191. If there are any injured persons involved, you should also call an ambulance at 1669. Quick response and accurate communication help prevent further complications and ensure the situation is resolved as efficiently as possible.
11. Minimum Rental Period
The minimum rental period for a motorbike in Phuket is 24 hours. Shorter rental durations are not available, regardless of how long the bike is actually used. This policy allows us to maintain high service quality, ensure proper preparation of each vehicle, and manage a reliable schedule for all our customers.
